What is the settlement layer: Clearing Layers is a decentralized network for global net settlement and settlement of capital flows between integrated chains. Just like Visa clearing and settlement transactions between banks.

With this brand upgrade, Everclear has the following improvements:

1️⃣ Reduced settlement costs: Reduce costs and complexity by up to 10 times

2️⃣ Programmable settlement: Builders can optimize settlement and insert any custom settlement method (such as CCTP for USDC).

3️⃣ Permissionless liquidity: As the basis for bridge and intention projects, provide Day 1 liquidity for new chains/assets.
