Based on data from @bcrypt5, on March 9 the number of bitcoin Inscriptions minted exceeded 31 thousand, of which Ordinals minted in the text version dominated by 40%, with the number reaching nearly 27 thousand . More than 4.3 BTC in fees were paid for minting ordinal inscriptions.

Additionally, it is worth noting that there were 1,036 ordinals over a total of 780029 block-heights recently, setting a new record.

Owls#NFThas been a huge success lately. Launched on March 3, the collection of 10,000 artistic owls painted with text characters, has a trading volume of over 11k ETH (17 million USD) on the secondary market and currently has a floor price of 0.184 ETH.

There is very little information about this collection, the Twitter account has only been created for 1 month. But there is no doubt that the project has sparked interest in the ASCII art in NFTs that make up a notable part of the history of cryptocurrency. Owls' popularity caused the community to ponder the nature of how trends develop, are forgotten, and are reborn again in the Web3 ecosystem.
