August is typically marked by a drop in crypto market activity and a drop in the value of major altcoins, Coinbase analysts say.

Some analysts are closely watching the $69,000 level as they believe that bulls must flip this level to support before Bitcoin surpasses $72,000 and challenges its all-time high near $74,000.
Bitcoin will need a strong catalyst to break out of its five-month trading range. When that happens, analysts are confident that Bitcoin will surpass the $100,000 mark. However, some analysts believe it will only reach six figures by 2025.

China's largest online poker game developer, Boyaa Interactive, has invested $1 million in UTXO Ventures' Bitcoin Ecosystem Fund and committed to purchasing an additional $100 million in BTC for its treasury.

The German government is selling off seized Bitcoin (BTC), putting selling pressure on the market and causing BTC prices to drop more than 20% in the past month.

European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council member Fabio Panetta recently took aim at Bitcoin and Ethereum during a conference in Rome on Tuesday. He claimed these two leading cryptocurrencies have no intrinsic value and cannot perform monetary functions.

Sentient, an open source development platform for artificial intelligence (AI), has raised $85 million in a seed round led by Peter Thiel's Founders Fund along with Pantera Capital and Framework Ventures.

The funds will support engineer recruitment and development of Sentient's open AI platform. The company wants to enable AI developers to monetize their open source models and data, similar to the Super Intelligence Alliance ecosystem.
