China's largest online poker game developer, Boyaa Interactive, has invested $1 million in UTXO Ventures' Bitcoin Ecosystem Fund and committed to purchasing an additional $100 million in BTC for its treasury.
The announcement was made during the week of the Bitcoin 2024 Conference in the US, where former US president Donald Trump will speak. This is part of Boyaa's strategy to expand its position in the cryptocurrency and Web3 sectors.
Previously, Boyaa Interactive signed an agreement with UTXO Ventures, investing 1 million USD in UTXO Bitcoin Ecosystem Fund 1 LP. The company also announced a strategic partnership with BTC Inc., parent company of Bitcoin Magazine and Bitcoin Conference.
Boyaa Interactive, founded in 2004 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2013, is famous as China's largest online poker game developer and is currently expanding into the Web3 sector.
Boyaa's stock price increased more than 8.4%, reaching 1.79 USD after announcing the cooperation with UTXO Venture. Currently, Boyaa's shares are trading at 1.75 USD.
