According to Foresight News, The Block reported that Web3 game development studio Gameplay Galaxy announced the completion of a $11.17 million seed round of financing with a valuation of $71 million. This round of financing was jointly led by Blockchain Capital and Merit Circle.
Gameplay Galaxy was founded in 2022 by Doron Kagan, the creator of the Trial Xtreme series (a bicycle racing game), and is currently developing its first Web3 game, Trial Xtreme Freedom, which will integrate NFTs and token economies, allowing players to own tracks, host competitions, and earn tokens. The game is scheduled to be officially released in the first quarter of 2025, and the token issuance will also be carried out simultaneously.
