Several major crypto projects led by Aptos, Arbitrum and Starknet are gearing up for significant token issues in April. According to token unlocking data, these projects will experience the largest token unlocks this month.
On April 12, #Aptos will issue 24.84 million #APT tokens (worth about $370 million), which is about 6.2% of the total volume in circulation. These tokens will be distributed to the Aptos Foundation, key contributors, investors and communities.
Following Aptos, Starknet will unlock 64 million STRK tokens on April 15, representing approximately 8.8 percent of the total tokens in circulation, or $124 million. The unlocking will benefit early adopters and investors in the project.
#Arbitrum tokens will be unlocked on April 16: 92.69 million ARB tokens will be issued, representing 3.5 percent of the total tokens in circulation, worth approximately $135 million. These tokens are intended for project teams, project developers, and consultants.
Other notable #token unlocks include #Axie Infinity (AXS), Immutable (IMX), and Optimism (OP).
Axie Infinity is scheduled to unlock 10.87 million Axie Infinity tokens (worth about $111 million) on April 17, or 7.6% of its circulation.
Immutable will release 34.19 million tokens, or about 2.4% of its circulation, worth nearly $99 million, on April 19.
Finally, Optimism will unlock 24.16 million tokens, or about 2.4% of its total circulating volume, worth about US$ 77 million, on April 29.
