Bank of America: Wealthy young Americans prefer to invest in cryptocurrency

Bank of America believes that the legalization of the cryptocurrency market in the United States will create conditions for a more accelerated entry of institutional capital into digital assets.

The collapse of the FTX exchange and other crypto companies in 2022 has exacerbated the problem of ensuring investor safety. This can be solved by introducing a regulatory framework for the blockchain industry, which will increase market transparency.

Last week, the bank published the results of a study showing growing interest in cryptocurrencies among a younger generation of wealthy investors.

If the older generation of high finance prefers to invest in traditional assets, then their children and grandchildren are mainly interested in cryptocurrencies and shares of technology companies.

Bank of America now predicts increased investment in alternative instruments in the coming years, including virtual currencies.
