PANews reported on June 18 that according to the monitoring of the SlowMist security team, an account suspected of disguising itself as the official address of Coinbase (0xcd53b841ffa2afba778d03ef928cfe864accca7b) has risky behavior. This address sent false messages to users who withdrew large amounts of assets from Coinbase Prime through on-chain shouting, claiming that due to "operational errors during the transaction process", users were required to return the ETH funds that were incorrectly transferred, otherwise law enforcement agencies would be contacted.

The SlowMist team recommends that all users remain vigilant when receiving similar messages and carefully verify the transfer information to avoid asset losses due to fraud.
