🔥🔥🔥 FTX REACHES AN AGREEMENT TO PAY 885 MILLION USD TO THE US TAX DEPARTMENT

⏩ On June 4, the bankrupt unit that took over the FTX cryptocurrency exchange announced that it had reached a settlement agreement with the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS). According to the agreement, instead of having to pay 24 billion USD in taxes as originally requested by the IRS, FTX will only have to pay 885 million USD. Of which, 200 million USD will be paid within 60 days from the date the agreement is confirmed, the remaining 685 million USD will be paid according to the available funds.

⏩ Judge John Dorsey, who oversees bankruptcy proceedings, will preside over a hearing on this claim on June 25.
