ChainCatcher news, HashKey Exchange CEO Livio Weng said that the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission may consider the user base from "sensitive regions" when reviewing the license applications of certain international cryptocurrency exchanges.
Weng said in an interview on Monday that he could not elaborate on the "sensitive regions", but this seemed to be the main focus of negotiations between the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and the exchanges, which have now withdrawn their license applications.
