We saw Trump’s “vote box” success by announcing acceptance of cryptocurrencies — 50 million Americans own cryptocurrencies (20% of the U.S. adult population). Now there are reports that Biden is reaching out to entities in the cryptocurrency industry, seeking guidance on “cryptocurrency communities and policies.”
Cryptocurrency is in the middle of a political frenzy right now, and we’ve been talking about the impact of the U.S. presidential election on crypto since the middle of last year. But this time it’s even better, because cryptocurrencies are actually influencing the election, which is pretty bullish news for the industry!
It’s not just the current US President Biden who has changed his stance. There is also SEC Chairman Gary Gensler, who has always regarded the crypto market as an enemy. According to his tweet, it can be interpreted as “the SEC is considering using blockchain.”
On the Ethereum spot ETF front, BlackRock has applied for registration of its ETH spot ETF on Form S-1, which will allow them to trade the Ethereum spot ETF under the ticker symbol $ETHA. Current speculation is that the Ethereum spot ETF trading could begin in early July as things seem to be progressing smoothly.
----If the Ethereum spot ETF officially starts trading, the entire Ethereum ecosystem can benefit, then this project should attract more of our attention and attention-Aave (AAVE) is one of the tokens that may benefit the most from the Ethereum spot ETF.
The annual altcoin index, which shows the performance of altcoins relative to Bitcoin, has been trending upward and may have now bottomed.
Judging by past experience, the last major bottom in 2020 was followed by a parabolic rise. Whether history will repeat itself, no one can say for sure, at least I hope so!
