Another tap-to-earn game on Telegram, TapSwap, has postponed the distribution of its TAPS tokens. On July 1st. The stated reason is to fight bots:

“The main reason for the delay is that we discovered a lot of bots 🤖🤖🤖 that earned an unrealistic number of reposts. To maintain fairness in the distribution of 💰 tokens, we are taking measures to stop and ban these bots.

Our top priority is to ensure that TAPS are distributed fairly and that those who earn them fairly are rewarded..."

Earlier the other day,#TapSwapalready announced that the launch of the token will not be on the#Solanablockchain, but on some other one. The reasons were not reported. There are rumors that they may launch on #TON. But why go to the blockchain, where there is already a tap token, which is a clear favorite? Introduced into the Telegram mini-application ecosystem. Question.

For us, TapSwap was the#2play after Notcoin precisely because of#Solanaas a blockchain, many assets on which are yet to show impressive growth in this cycle. Although if you compare TapSwap with Hamster Combat, in terms of the level of hype (especially in recent weeks) they are not even close. And maybe the bet on#2was wrong.

But TapSwap’s stated numbers are impressive. Today there are 32.69 million players, 15 million players per day. Tokenomics are still unknown, but 77.77 trillion coins have been minted. We calculated the total number of coins we have - 212 million coins. More than was in Notcoin. But the rate is unlikely to be comparable.

In general, for the vast majority of existing tapal projects, there is a suspicion that their goal is not to distribute the asset and build the project, but to make money on the costs of the participants during branding. Notcoin did not have this; there was no need to spend TON or any other assets. Hamster will probably have it. TapSwap probably does too. There are a huge number of other tap-to-earn projects - we have no doubt. Therefore, we now treat the vast majority of such projects coldly. Notcoin is a unique project in its own way, just like Telegram.
