$960 Million Company's Ethereum Application Withdrawn

According to information released this week, the application to list the Hashdex Nasdaq Ethereum ETF has been withdrawn.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) last week approved filings 19b-4 to allow exchanges to list spot Ethereum ETFs. Hashdex was not among the applications approved by the SEC.

According to the information on its site, Hashdex manages assets worth more than $960 million in total.

According to its announcement this week, Nasdaq withdrew Hashdex's application to list the Ethereum ETF as of May 24.

The fund aimed to invest in Ethereum, Ethereum futures contracts on CME, cash and cash equivalents.
