According to Bloomberg, OpenAI has set up a committee to evaluate the safety and safeguards of its artificial intelligence models, a governance change a few weeks after the company's executive in charge of the field resigned and the company effectively disbanded his internal team. The new committee will spend 90 days evaluating the safeguards of OpenAI technology and then submit a report.

"After full board review, OpenAI will publicly share updates to the adopted recommendations in a manner consistent with safety and security standards," the company said in a blog post on Tuesday.
