According to DL News, the Biden administration has rehired former cryptocurrency consultant Carole House. She will serve as a special adviser to the White House National Security Council, responsible for "critical infrastructure policy" and cybersecurity.

House was involved in writing Biden's 2022 executive order on cryptocurrencies and digital assets. She said on LinkedIn: "I am honored to be called back to serve and work to shape a secure and trusted digital economic future." The move comes at a time when Trump publicly supports cryptocurrency, making it an election issue. House previously served as a "resident executive" at Terranet Ventures and served in federal government agencies such as the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the National Security Council.
