The developers of #Ethereum are preparing for the long-awaited update "#Pectra ", which is scheduled to launch at the end of the first quarter of 2025. This update will introduce the Ethereum Virtual Machine (#EVM ) Object Format (#EOF ), which includes approximately 11 Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs). EOF will enhance the EVM code with a container system that allows you to plug into it. Pectra also includes PeerDAS, a data availability sampling solution that aims to improve network resiliency and performance by addressing current scaling challenges. Additionally, the EIP-3074 account abstraction will be replaced by the more advanced EIP-7702 proposal, introduced by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.
