The US House of Representatives has passed the FIT cryptocurrency bill , which will distribute the power to regulate crypto between regulators.

The CFTC will regulate crypto as a commodity if it is functional and decentralized, and the SEC will accordingly regulate a digital asset as a security if it is not decentralized .
