USDt-TON reached an adoption milestone, reaching a circulation of $200 million within a month of release. This growth sets a new record for the fastest token circulation in Tether USDt history and highlights the growing demand for USDT in the TON ecosystem.
The goal of the partnership was to enable the use of USDT and XAUT for peer-to-peer payments on the TON blockchain, targeting Telegram's base of 900 users. To reassure users, the TON blockchain highlighted the ease and speed of cross-border payments on its network, comparing it to sending a text message on Telegram.
Following this launch, the Open League contributed to improving user experience with the TON blockchain. For context, the league led to a 264% increase in TON's monthly active users to 1.5 million users. According to Coinmarketcap data, TON is trading at $7.05 at press time, representing a 4.15% intraday gain.
