The VC token industry is not what it was in 2017 or even 2021. Back then, newbies to the “crypto” space trusted VCs to give them advice on what to buy and what not to buy. These crypto VCs made a fortune because almost everything they promoted was bought by the gullible public, driving prices up dramatically. They made money on a variety of tokens, from EOS to IOTA, WAX, and STEEM. Back then, they were at their prime with great market influence.

But over the past few years, the influence of crypto VCs has clearly waned, and the days of 30x gains through ICOs are gone. Since then, their reputation has plummeted as the markets where they accumulated funds have moved further and further away from them. In a sense, though, they deserved it because almost all of the tokens they pumped up have performed poorly, and the likelihood of these tokens being fulfilled is as high as the Kardashian wedding vows.
