❗️ Robinhood Receives Wells Notice from SEC

🏢 On May 4th, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued a so-called "Wells Notice" to Robinhood Crypto, the cryptocurrency division of brokerage firm Robinhood Markets.

🔍 It is reported that the SEC intends to accuse Robinhood Crypto of violating securities laws.

🗣 "We firmly believe that the assets listed on our platform are not securities, and we look forward to cooperating with the SEC to demonstrate how weak any case against Robinhood Crypto would be both factually and legally," stated Dan Gallagher, Chief Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Affairs Officer at Robinhood Markets.
