[Stripe integrates Avalanche C-Chain and can purchase AVAX directly through its platform]

Financial infrastructure leader Stripe has announced the expansion of its services to support Avalanche C-Chain, now allowing users to purchase AVAX tokens directly through Stripe without going through a cryptocurrency exchange. This feature has been integrated into Avalanche’s native wallet Core developed by Ava Labs, allowing users to use multiple payment methods such as ACH transfers, charge cards, and credit card top-ups.

The integration of Stripe is designed to solve the problem of insufficient user funds faced by Web3 companies, provide a one-stop solution covering KYC, payment, fraud and compliance issues, and provide a convenient entrance to the Avalanche ecosystem. Several key partners including GoGoPool, Avvy, Pakt, zeroone, Halliday, The Arena, Shrapnel and DeFi Kingdoms have plans to integrate this channel.

Akash Gupta, director of consumer products at Ava Labs, said that this integration will improve Core’s functionality and user experience, lower the barrier to entry, and promote consumer adoption of digital currency. He said: "The integration with Stripe is an important step in our efforts to provide users with intuitive and smooth solutions, further shortening the distance between cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies."

John Egan, Stripe’s head of cryptocurrency, expressed enthusiasm for the cooperation, stating: “Incorporating AVAX into our support network makes Avalanche’s DApp ecosystem more accessible to consumers, which is in line with our goal of making Web3 safe and easy to reach everyone. Highly consistent.
