I share this warning after my friend and I fell victim to scams on Binance's peer-to-peer platform, resulting in significant financial losses.

Here are common P2P scam warnings to pay attention to:

1️⃣ Be wary of ads that offer unusually high prices (e.g. 1 USD = 500 PKR). New users are often targeted and end up scammed.

2️⃣ When selling cryptocurrency for fiat, scammers may send fake payment notifications that disappear when you check your bank account.

3️⃣ Be cautious with third-party payments that may result in account freezes or invalid transactions.

👉 To avoid these scams:

- Verify the seller/buyer account and ensure it is KYC approved.

- Prioritize accounts with high completion rate (over 98%).

- Select the old account with a higher total number of orders.

- Be cautious with new accounts or accounts with low completion rates.

Let's be vigilant and demand a direct fiat purchase option to stop these scams! Remember, always prioritize security and be cautious of online scams. If you have been scammed, report it to Binance support immediately.”
