Don't be a victim of the Over Choice phenomenon...

In 2000, two researchers opened a honey booth, in which they displayed 6 types of honey.

It happened that 40% of pedestrians stopped in front of the kiosk and asked about the types, and three quarters of them made a purchase, that is, 75% of those who stopped.

They did the same thing again and introduced 24 types of honey, meaning they increased the types offered.

The surprise was that 60% of pedestrians stopped and asked about the types and their differences, but those who actually bought were 5% of those who stopped.

There is a big difference between the percentage of people who bought between the first and second scenario.

So what happened?

What happened was that the options multiplied

It becomes a state of Over Choice, and then the mind becomes confused, and often ends up exhausted from thinking and thus canceling the idea altogether.

This happens in many things in our lives. For example, some women find that their clothes drawers are full, but they do not feel that they have clothes, and neither do some men.
This is why we see that modern geniuses and pioneers such as Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, and others are trying to get used to one dress so as not to exhaust their minds by thinking about the choice, and to save energy to make more important decisions in their lives and the future of their companies.
