“Entertainment industry workers have reached a tentative agreement with major music labels, including Warner Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment, to increase minimum wages and protect against the use of artificial intelligence (AI)🤖. The agreement, approved by the executive committee of the Actors Guild of Hollywood (SAG-AFTRA), covers the period from 2021 to 2026. It provides consent and compensation before the release of songs with digital replicas of artists' voices. A final vote on ratification is expected to take place in the coming weeks."
