FTX crashes! SBF was sentenced to 25 years, the crypto world is shocked!
Have you heard about it? FTX founder SBF was sentenced last night! The end result was 25 years in prison and a fine of nearly $11 billion!
I actually saw this news last night and originally wanted to include it in the article, but unfortunately I was too sleepy and forgot about it. A fan asked in the group today, so I will explain it to you.
Yesterday Sister Ode Biao Biao did a live update and live broadcast of the entire SBF verdict on X. When the 25-year prison sentence was announced, many people felt that FTX was finished, and so was FTT.
But everyone should know that SBF’s verdict will not affect FTX’s bankruptcy compensation, nor will it affect future bankruptcy reorganization. After all, FTX still has good user data, and its foundation is still good.
Although there is currently little hope of FTX restarting, as long as this matter is not completely resolved, there is still a glimmer of possibility.
Also, I feel like SBF being sentenced to 25 years is not necessarily his final outcome. After the US election is over and Trump takes office, the Republican Party’s optimism and support for cryptocurrencies may change SBF’s situation. Of course, the probability of being pardoned is very small, but it is still possible to have the sentence reduced or to enjoy the same treatment in prison as in the outside world.
Why would I guess that? Because so far, there are many signs that SBF has a certain relationship with both the Democratic and Republican parties. Could the 25-year sentence be a ploy to ostensibly calm public anger and media attention? When a man is sentenced to 25 years, everyone may soon forget about him.
