Bitwise chief investment officer Matt Hougan said on Twitter that almost all investors he has spoken to are considering allocating at least 3% of their portfolios to Bitcoin. For professional investors, “3% is the new 1%” Bitcoin allocation standard. This change was aided by the launch of the U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETF, which reduces potential downside risks for Bitcoin. Hougan noted that net inflows into the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF have totaled approximately $11.7 billion in the more than two months since the ETF’s launch, indicating that long-term sustained demand will “last for many years.”
