AltLayer is an open and decentralized protocol for rollups. AltLayer brings together a novel idea of Restaked Rollups which takes rollups (spun from any rollup stack such as OP Stack, Arbitrum Orbit, Polygon CDK, ZK Stack, etc.) and provides them with enhanced security, decentralization, interoperability and crypto-economic fast finality by leveraging restaking mechanism.
ALTlayer is basically an Infrastructure token, we have some similar tokens as GRT and PYTH.
Now let's talk about the investors!
$ALT have three TIER 1 investors, including Binance Labs, two TIER 2 investors and three TIER 3 investors. What is a good point that shows that there are good bakers for this project.
There was two Private Sales rounds:
Seed round with total $7.20Million invested, bought price was 0.008$ per token, was bought 9.00% of Total supply. Already having 64x Roi.
Private round with total of 15.60Million invested, bought price was 0.018$ per token, was bought 9.5% of total emission. Already having 28x Roi.
So with this information we can see that there are $22.8Million invested and 18.5% of total emission bought. Also we can see that they have small ROI what is very good point, beacause when big funds and investors invest this amount of money in new projects they are interested to have really really big gains, with more then 100x and even more, sometimes having 500x ROI.
An example is Solana in which was good investros and they now have 2500x ROI from the first round and 500x ROI from the second round.
So the project is new and have more potencial to grow.
The tokenomics!!
ALT total supply is 10 Billion coins. Only 12%(1.2Billion) of coins are unlocked, with $566Million market cap. Also this year the investors will have unlocks starting in June, 2024.
This is very important due to the fact that tha investors has 18.5%(1.85Billion) coins. So they will be interested to pump the token before or during the unlocks, to sell with a good gains. Also the bullrun will start this year, so they will take advantage and pump the token.
What price to expect?
If we compare it with similar projects, I choosed the GRT because it is an old project, we can see that the GRT now have $2.5Billion market cap and had $5Billion on the last Bullrun. So we can suppose that ALT can reach at least $3/5 Billion market cap.
If ALT reaches $5Billion Market cap it will costs 4$ per coin, so if you buy with a 0.50$ price, you will have 8x ROI. What is a good investement. Even if it only reach $3Billion market cap the price will be 2.5$ with a 5x ROI.
So what is the best price to buy now?
Now ALT is trading with a 0.51$ price. The graphic shows some support levels, on 0.51$, on 0.45$ and on 0.37$. Now it depend of you, and your patience, choose one of that support levels to buy, and wait to price go down.
I bought it with a 0.298$ price and will sell it with a 2.1$ and 3$ price.
