The author of one of the biggest “falls” in the history of the virtual currency financial market, the former CEO of the Bybot financial platform, which controlled thousands of crypto assets from hundreds of investors spread across Brazil, the United States and Europe.

The latest information circulated in WhatsApp groups formed by the fraudster’s victims was that Engomadinho had crossed half the world and landed in the United Arab Emirates. He was reportedly living peacefully, burning through investors’ fortunes, in Dubai.

The scammer deleted all his social media, deleted his communication channels and closed the platform for withdrawals, shortly before disappearing from the country. None of the investors were able to withdraw the amount that was deposited in their wallets. Previously a regular on social media and always recording live streams, Engomadinho never posted any content again.

With a sharp tongue, abusing his friendliness and inspiring confidence, the platform administrator used to record videos for his followers and showed that the business was “safe” and completely legal.

Bybot operated mainly with the so-called crypto asset arbitrage. The process is well known in the stock market.

When an investor decides to work with this method, he starts trading assets at low prices and offering them on platforms that pay a higher price. The difference, then, goes to the investor.

Before deleting his social media, the Bybot manager posted photos at luxury resorts, ski resorts or sunbathing on paradisiacal beaches.
