In another post, made by Binance Research, the broker gave a brief presentation of Scroll (SCR). In short, it is a second-layer project of Ethereum, aiming to scale the network with zkRollup.
âScroll's mission is to bring billions of users to the Ethereum ecosystem, to be the most secure and reliable second-layer network to process trillions of dollars on-chain, and the default place for new innovations.â
The alpha version of the project was launched in July 2022, with the mainnet presented in October 2023. Therefore, this is a sign of the developers' commitment.
Other data indicate that Scroll is the zeroknowledge proof chain with the largest TVL on the market, reaching US$$ 1.15 billion, with US$$ 800 million linked to the DeFi sector. In other words, the project is already in an advanced state.
