COURT OF INDIA: NOT ALL ACCOUNTS CAN BE FREEZED‼️
The Madras High Court has banned the police from freezing all bank accounts as part of a crypto scam investigation. The ruling emphasized that only the amount related to the scam can be frozen. Justice G. Jayachandran stated that completely freezing the accounts would endanger the livelihoods of individuals.
The case was filed on the application of Mohammed Saifullah, a victim of a crypto investigation conducted in the Telangana State of India. The court emphasized the importance of informing account holders during the investigation.
