MICROSTRATEGY TO BUY BITCOIN WITH $700 MILLION IN NOTE SALE‼️
MicroStrategy announced the sale of $700 million in convertible senior senior notes to expand its Bitcoin strategy. The notes will mature in 2028, and the proceeds will be used to repay $500 million in existing notes and purchase additional Bitcoin.
The company will offer noteholders a choice of cash or stock options. “We will release approximately 69,080 Bitcoins through the return of the Senior Secured Notes,” a MicroStrategy official said. The move continues the company’s strong commitment to Bitcoin.
