Demand for mining equipment has increased in Russia
Chilkoot noted that before the legalization of mining in the legal field, they recorded up to 200 requests for equipment purchases. After the adoption of the bill, the number of requests from clients increased almost threefold.
According to Oleg Ogienko, Deputy General Director for Communications at BitRiver, the start was given to attracting investments in the industry in August. Private Russian and foreign customers are increasingly turning to BitRiver for capacity placement services, the expert noted.
In turn, Sergey Bezdelov, Director of the Industrial Mining Association, emphasized that mining companies have stopped fearing the seizure of equipment after the adoption of the law. After the state introduced clear rules of the game for the industry, industrial mining has become more attractive to large companies than before.
