Russia suspected of using AI to influence US elections
Russia has created more AI content to influence the US presidential election than any other foreign country, a US intelligence official said, Reuters reports.
According to the agency, Russia is using AI to support Republican candidate Donald Trump and "denigrate" Vice President Kamala Harris, including through conspiracy theories.
Russia has a better understanding of how the US elections are conducted and what goals should be pursued, an official from the US Office of the Director of National Intelligence noted.
