Another sky-high transfer fee
BlockBeats news, on August 12, according to DeFiac's Etherscan data on X, a user may have spent 34.26 ETH (worth $89,200 at current prices) to transfer 0.87 ETH (worth only $2,262) due to a mistake.
Currently, the Ethereum network gas fee is hovering at an annual low of 2 to 4 gwei, and ETH transfers only cost $5 at most.
It's a bit outrageous, spending nearly $90,000 in fees to transfer $2,000.
