New clients.

New sales. 

Hey, I've got a business to run. 

A family to feed, you understand.

But what about my existing clients? 

The ones who trusted me first? 

They deserved better from me, for sure. 

Their money should mean even more.

So, last week, I reached out and reconnected. 

Caught up with those old clients.

Reminisced about our past successes.

Discussed family, life, and biz goals.

It felt rewarding to answer their questions.

Offering free help and guidance.

I revised a client's project landing page and formatted another's whitepaper.

All pro bono.

This experience served as a much-needed reality check.

These are the people who believed in me first.

They took a chance on my promise to deliver.

They entrusted me with their hard-earned money.

And I owed them my undivided attention and support.

I should do this more often.

When someone hires you, maintain that connection.
 
After the contract ends, continue being there for them.

They trusted you with their hard-earned cash. 

Give them certainty, no doubts.

From now on, I'll prioritize nurturing these relationships.

Consistently adding value and ensuring their success matters most.

New opportunities will always arise in this fast-paced space.

Growth is essential, but not at the expense of those who believed in me from the start.

I've seen this one change help web3 projects move 2-3X faster.

Step 1: Goals

– Put the most pressing goals in a document

What must happen or else progress stalls?

Keep it to 3-5 and be picky.

Step 2: Accountability

– What actions must be taken to reach the goals

We created a simple list

Step 3: Time Constraint

– Within one month, the goals were to be completed alongside all tasks

Forces people to focus as time is limited

Problems eliminated:

– Wasting time on things that don't matter
– Not knowing who is doing what and when
– No alignment among the leadership team
– People hiding and pretending to do work!

The next month? We did the same thing all over again.

One project went further in a month than they had in a year.

For example, a project that wants VC funding has no data room, no business plan, etc., and is focused on spamming VCs.
