SpaceX founder Elon Musk announced the DOGE-1 satellite launch project in 2021. As a collaboration between Intuitive Machines and the U.S. space program NASA, “DOGE-1” was developed by Dogecoin (Dogecoin) funded by the space technology company Geometric Energy Corporation and launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Microscreens on the DOGE-1 satellite will display advertisements, images and logos, which will then be broadcast to Earth. DOGE-1 is the first satellite launch project to be paid entirely in Dogecoin.
