(Southern Weekly) Reflecting on and contemplating society, the nation, and individual destinies at different times.

This year, 2025, is:

Define the algorithm of the world with your way of living.

I read it three times and listened to it twice. To say something that may offend many: there is neither insight nor attitude, only a pretentious display of literary flair and self-indulgent sentimental drivel.

The first four paragraphs list some AI use cases, with a focus on the first sentence of the fourth paragraph: China has not been absent from this coronation.

In summary, paragraphs five, six, and seven convey: AI is indeed powerful, but it cannot solve all problems. The key sentence is: open AI is not truly open, including the entire paragraph following this sentence, summed up in a subtly critical phrase: you are just as limited.

Paragraphs eight, nine, ten, eleven, and twelve start to approach the theme of the article, posing the celestial question: where should humanity go?

The last ten paragraphs express a vague meaning wrapped in flashy language: we must affirm our own value.

The flashy language is manifested in meaningless piles of text, such as:

Searching in confusion, exploring in stumbling, evolving in the advance......

Although the future is uncertain, I always hold onto a naive hope.......

Every insignificant individual can write down their desires and stubbornness in this grand era......

....... yet always understanding what love is, what hate is, what the pain of long nights and the subtle joys of life are.

...... to find oneself, affirm oneself, and love oneself in this vast sea of stars.

Is this still an expression of avant-garde media? How is this different from a middle school essay?! Have you really lowered yourself to merely copying good phrases and sentences?

What is attitude? Where is the path?

As an established media outlet, is it merely singing 'One must have fire in the heart and light in the eyes'? Rather than caring about the economic situation, employment status, the mental state of the youth, and the difficulties of elderly care.

If it's just for the New Year and you want to say a few auspicious words, then simply and bluntly wish everyone prosperity and no unemployment, and I hope readers all pass their civil service exams. Even just shouting 'Keep it up' counts as giving people strength, better than being so slick.

This year's tribute is written in an ethereal manner, skillfully navigating, like a girl who is both literate and adept at playing music, never letting any guest feel awkward; like an old hand in the workplace, with nods and silence as answers to any questions, never making a mistake in explanations.

It's truly a model text that wants everything at once.

If you really can't jump because the shackles are too heavy, then don't jump at all; at least preserve some integrity. The current state is just that of a sycophantic petty person.
