Validators have upgraded their software to bring Sei V2 to the mainnet. Existing applications and tokens will continue to run as before, marking a new design space for developers. It is reported that the Sei community has jointly pioneered the first parallel EVM, and the current stage of launch aims to achieve the following goals: - Minimize risks; - Set expectations; - Optimize performance. According to previous news, Sei will launch the V2 upgrade in three phases, which will realize a new high-performance parallel EVM. The three phases are governance, Alpha release, and V2 readiness.
