[Southeast Asia's IPOs have raised about US$3 billion so far this year, the lowest in nine years] According to Jinshi Data on November 19, in the first 10 and a half months of this year, the Southeast Asian initial public offering market completed 122 IPOs, raising about US$3 billion. Although the number of IPOs in Southeast Asia remained healthy, the total amount of funds raised was a nine-year low, a sharp drop from the US$5.8 billion raised by 163 IPOs last year. Deloitte pointed out at the Southeast Asian IPO press conference held on November 19 that IPO activity in Southeast Asia has declined, mainly due to the lack of large IPO transactions. So far this year, only one IPO has raised more than US$500 million, while four will reach this scale in 2023. (Reprinted from: Jinshi Data)
