The largest exchange Binance announced the listing of Hamster Kombat Let's figure out what pros and cons this event brings, and what is the emission of tokens?

🎉 Details:

Hamster Kombat will have a total supply of 100 billion HMSTR tokens, and Binance Launchpool will allocate 3 billion (3% of the total supply). Users will be able to stake their BNB and FDUSD (Binance stablecoin) to receive bonus HMSTR tokens starting on 2024-09-19.

✅ Benefits of listing on Binance:

Of the Telegram projects, only three managed to break through to Binance: NOT, DOGS, and now Khomyak. NOT had 35 million users, DOGS had 50 million active users, and Khomyak had over 80 million active accounts (the total number, as I understand it, is about 300 million unique accounts). As you can see, the audience was growing. For any of these projects, listing on Binance is, of course, a big plus - it means three times more discussion, attention, and engagement.

But the principles of selection by the exchange are still complicated. Do they evaluate the product itself or are they simply chasing an influx of new users? Most likely, the latter, since none of these three projects had a product as such (although they shouldn't have had one).

❌ Cons:

If Binance works on a cumulative basis, that is, it simply collects a larger audience, no matter what to add, then we get a situation where all TG users are already on Binance, since there is no one who would not participate in at least one of these three projects: NOT, DOGS, Khomyak. Consequently, Binance simply may not need people from other projects, which means that it will become more difficult to list on Binance, since projects simply will not be able to provide the exchange with what it needs - new users.

🗺 On the other hand:

NOT and DOGS have shown excellent trading volumes, and the exchange is known to make money on this. If Hamster Kombat is no exception and is actively traded, then Binance will probably continue to add promising projects. However, the requirements for projects will still increase, and with an audience of less than 40-50 million users, it will be difficult to have a substantive conversation with Binance. If you are worried about HOT, which currently has only 22 million users, do not forget that they have the most solvent audience, so there will be other arguments for negotiations.

🦊To sum it up:

For Khomyak and his loyal hamsters, this is an absolute success. But in my opinion, Khomyak will take the place of really good projects on the TOP exchanges that could give a big drop. And if it does not take the place, it will significantly raise the bar, and on all exchanges, which will make listing on the top exchanges an even more difficult task for many projects. We, as users, most likely win in the micro, but lose in the macro.
