According to BlockBeats, Roaring Kitty has been sued by GMP call option holder Martin Radev. The lawsuit, filed on June 28 in the Eastern District of New York by the law firm representing Radev Pomerantz, accuses Roaring Kitty of orchestrating a “pump and dump” scheme through a series of social media posts starting on May 13.

Eric Rosen, a former federal prosecutor and co-founder of the law firm Dynamis LLP, commented on the lawsuit, noting that it was "doomed to fail" from the start. He said the claim that "Roaring Kitty should have disclosed his intention to sell his options" would not hold up in court. He further stated that no "reasonable person, let alone a rational investor," would expect Roaring Kitty to hold all of the options until their expiration date.
