• Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has warned against imposters.

The former #Binance executive has just been released from prison.

CZ has hinted at his imminent return to the spotlight.

Zhao Changpeng (CZ), founder and former CEO of #cryptocurrency exchange Binance, has been in the spotlight in recent weeks after he was released from a four-month prison sentence last month. However, the increased attention on the former executive has not been without its problems, with a number of individuals attempting to use the hype surrounding him for nefarious purposes.

In response to this growing trend, CZ himself has issued a warning.

Former Binance executive Changpeng Chao (CZ), who has just been released from prison, has warned of the emergence of imposters attempting to use his name. In a tweet on Monday, October 21, 2024, CZ responded to concerns about several authenticated X accounts using his name by tagging them as clones.

Beware of fake 'cz' accounts, the former CEO stressed, stating that any account other than his official page is an imposter and malicious.

One of the fraudulent accounts, which has amassed over 39,000 followers, very accurately mimics CZ's official page, copying key details such as his profile picture and biography.

Zhao's latest post followed an earlier warning about fake videos of him circulating on social media, in which he urged followers to avoid interacting with fraudulent projects falsely claiming to support him.

In addition to addressing the impersonation issue, the former Binance CEO also answered questions about his full return to society.

responding to subscribers' requests for a full return to social media, the ousted Binance CEO assured that he will be back.

CZ, who was jailed for around 120 days for offenses related to Binance's anti-money laundering (AML) practices, emphasized that he is enjoying a quiet time following his release.
