The first Bitcoin spot ETF application was filed by Cameron & Tyler Winklevoss on July 1, 2013.

Price of Bitcoin was $97 at the time. More than a decade later (& BTC price more than 400x higher since then) a spot ETF is still yet to be approved for trading in America by the SEC.

BTC spot ETF approval is looking like it’s finally going to arrive sometime within the next few days. Most people have no idea how long the process of getting here has taken & what a huge milestone this is.
