What type of trading do you prefer? Each type of trader appeals to investors differently and is based on varying strategies. Understanding your own style of trading can help make better-investing decisions. It defines the risk level and effort, as well as profit potential of your actions. Reviewing it might bring more profits and motivation! Based on my experience, there are mainly four types of crypto traders, among plenty of other trading types and strategies: Position trading (the well-known HOLDER) Position trading focuses on long-term trends and can span weeks, months, or even years. Traders identify major market moves and hold positions for extended periods to profit from their expected trends. You need to understand economic factors and market cycles, and you have to be okay with short-term price changes so you can (potentially) make higher returns over time Swing trading This is when you hold positions overnight or for several days, aiming to profit from the swings in prices. This involves analyzing technical indicators and other market factors Day trading This is when you buy and sell assets within the same trading day. The goal is to make money from short-term price changes.To be successful in day trading, you need to be aware of market trends and be able to make decisions quickly Scalping Scalping is a very short-term trading strategy where traders try to make money from small price changes. They hold their assets for short periods — minutes or even seconds! — to make many small gains during the day. This type of trading is for experts who are comfortable doing high-speed trades Other: Technical Traders, Fundamental Traders, Forex Traders, High-Frequency Traders (HFTs), Algorithmic (Algo) Traders, Quantitative Traders, Options Traders, Commodity Traders, Momentum Traders, Price Action Traders, Pairs Traders, Arbitrage Traders, Market Timer Traders, Sentiment Traders, Contrarian Traders, Event Traders, Noise Traders, Index Traders, Delivery Traders,... What happens?: The market doesn't care about when you entered and whales love the current market cycle part - THE SETUP seems done, we probably are in THE PLAY. Check the first picture. Then check the last days candles. We had the channel/range of about 92-102k (setup. pic 2. Sorry for embryonic painting.But it's not an arts course 😉😂 ). They bring in money now and produce waves (expansion. pic 1). They need your fear, your uncertainty and the results of your doubts - your selling or liquidation at a low price, your liquidation as a result of overpowering of leverage. The weak hand! That's how they pay their experts and their bugattis, lambos and whatever. - What will probably happen: Based on the last months, i a_ssess at least the last higher high (above 108k or near to) OR even a strong continuation of the bull until Q II or III of this year. - How do I handle it?: Keep on waiting for the trend and sippin' My SL is set, and i am convinced regarding my chart readout. Will I lose my money?💩 Are you scared because the market is going against you and many authors are spreading doomsday scenarios? A few words to help you assess the situation a little better: First: Have you invested money that you need to survive? Or is it money that should be working for you and just isn't at the moment? In the first case, you actually have a big problem - you are dependent on the market and not the other way around. It doesn't care about you. If you have to close/sell your positions now, then you can only see this as a lesson. Don't do it again. But keep on reading the second section-Nobody told it will dive further! Your money was the money that's left over for investments? It can get better! You just made the mistake of getting in at the wrong time. Now for the trick: when is the wrong time? Many people who write here see only certain periods of time and not the whole picture. They make judgments based on 1h, 4h charts, while you might have said: “I have time. I expect profits in half a year”. We don't even want to talk about misjudgments here. What does this mean for your nerves? Remember that cryptocurrency trading is risky, set a fixed stop loss that you cannot deviate from under any circumstances and just wait and see. Yes, the entry point could have been better, those who entered better have a bigger buffer and may make more profit or have to liquidate later. But no one said there would only be profits, and you knew that. You probably have "plenty of air" to go deepdive for a long time. When you come back up, the whales will have eaten krill above you and may not hunt in that area again for a long time. Personally, I am far away from thinking that it is all over, that the market has recently run out of upside potential or that the big institutions have launched ETFs for fun and want to burn a lot of money.
