According to Odaily Planet Daily, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced that the 'Bank Interbank Account Data Sharing' program is officially named 'Account Connectivity'.

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Hong Kong Science Park Company launched the 'Account Connectivity Developer Platform' to facilitate banks in securely and efficiently sharing account data according to customer wishes.

The 'Account Connectivity' pilot program launched in January this year, with 28 banks participating, covering retail, corporate, and small to medium-sized enterprise clients.

The program established guidelines and standards for shared account data, promoting the industry to launch more data-driven innovative banking products and services, enhancing customer experience.
