Many news sites reported on the third assassination attempt against Trump. Specifically:

On October 12, 2024, Vem Miller, 49, was arrested outside Trump's rally in Coachella with a shotgun, a loaded handgun, a large-capacity magazine, and many fake documents.

US PPI 🇺🇸 (% of wholesale inflation) = 1.8%, unchanged in September. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones expected a 0.1% monthly increase after a 0.2% increase in August, but the reading was unchanged.
