An innovative update has been released that will transform the way we can interact with music votes in the app. This new system introduces dynamic pricing for votes, closely tied to a song's popularity or decline. All this makes voting music on #Sonorus more exciting and interesting for everyone.
We explain how the purchase mechanism and the dynamics of the sale price work.
â Purchase price mechanism:
đčPopularity Factor: The cost of votes will now reflect the current popularity of a song. As a song becomes more popular and receives more votes, its price will increase more quickly.
đčFormula for purchase price: The purchase price of each vote is calculated based on the price of the previous vote, an incremental factor, and the popularity of the song. After purchasing a vote, the popularity factor will be equal to 100% and will decrease by 10% every 2400 blocks. The popularity factor will determine the further increase in the vote price.
đčPopularity and Drop Metrics: Popularity is quantified and decreases by 10% every 2400 blocks (approximately 2 hours), resetting to zero if no purchases are made within that period.
â Sale price dynamics:
đčCalculation of the sale price: the sale price of a vote is determined by its purchase price and a percentage of the popularity price.
đčPrice percentage increase: The percentage starts at 80% of the price value and increases by 2% every 240 blocks (approximately 12 minutes) without sales, eventually reaching 1.
đ„ With these new updates, there are songs that have risen from 0.0002 to 0.5 #BNBđ„ in just 2 hours, making a record of 2700x. Most of the songs that are having this acceptance are Korean songs, it seems that they are trending.
