Stop messing around with wallets! This protocol allows one wallet to access 65,000 applications, and I personally saved 20G of memory.
Recently, I cleared my phone's memory, and just the cryptocurrency wallets took up nearly 20G — Ethereum, Solana, Polygon; each chain requires a corresponding wallet, or else you cannot even use DApps. It wasn't until a friend recommended WalletConnect to me that I realized: one wallet can handle everything, and all my previous efforts were in vain.
Some people may not have heard of WalletConnect, but the MetaMask and Trust Wallet you have used, and the OpenSea and Aave you have played with, are likely relying on it for connection. This open-source protocol launched in 2018 is like 'Bluetooth' in your phone, except it connects wallets to DApps instead of headphones, and it can also cross different blockchains. It now supports over 600 wallets and more than 65,000 applications, with 47.5 million users connecting over 300 million times — equivalent to each user saving at least the memory of 3 wallets on average; I calculated that I saved much more than that myself.
