[Senior Bloomberg Analyst Faces Backlash from XRP Community for XRP Joke]

At a recent Bitcoin conference, Bloomberg senior crypto analyst James Seyffart sparked controversy when he made a joke about XRP. The comment caught the attention of the “XRP Legion,” a group of XRP supporters who quickly took to social media to express their displeasure.

An X user named Subjective Views pointed out in a post that Seyffart mentioned XRP in an interview with BlackRock’s head of digital assets, causing frustration among XRP supporters. Seyffart later acknowledged the reaction in a post, saying: "Oh no! The XRP army is canceling me because of a joke I made at a Bitcoin conference." He showed a relaxed attitude rather than concern.

To clarify his position, Seyffart made another post explaining: "I don't hate XRP, it was just a joke aimed at my audience and it worked well. I personally support Ripple in fighting the SEC in court. I think the SEC is Many industries, including Ripple/XRP, are overextended.”

Seyffart continued: "If you guys are that angry about a light-hearted joke, you're not going to succeed. You should reevaluate some things and go out and relax."

Crypto KOL Wise Advice highlights the significant increase in the value of XRP. XRP price is up 66% in the past two weeks and 27% in the past month. As of now, XRP is trading at 0.6 and moving within an ascending channel. The relative strength index (RSI) is at 59.02, indicating positive market momentum. If XRP manages to break out of the 0.63 resistance zone, it is expected to rise to 0.67 and possibly even further to 0.7.
