The All New INJ Burn Standard LaunchToday, Injective unveils another enhancement to its groundbreaking burn auction. Following the success of INJ 2.0, which empowered any dApp or protocol to contribute transaction fees to the weekly burn auction, this update makes a further amendment and allows anyone–from dApps to protocols and now individual community members–to contribute funds to the weekly burn auction.  This latest iteration marks a significant stride towards inclusivity, opening the doors for a broader range of contributors, including protocols, dApps, and users, to participate in the burn auction. The Evolution of the Injective Weekly Burn Auctions Injective's Weekly Burn Auction made its debut in December 2021 as a novel addition to the ecosystem. Initially, all exchange dApps on Injective contributed 60% of their transaction fees to a weekly auction, where participants could bid for the entire week's collected fees. This mechanism effectively captured the total value of activity on DEXs deployed on Injective while benefiting all stakeholders involved. INJ 2.0 However, as Injective evolved into a blockchain built for finance, it became imperative to adapt this mechanism to accommodate the growing diversity of dApps. In August 2023, the Burn Auction underwent its first upgrade, allowing any dApp, regardless of nature, to contribute. This expansion welcomed a multitude of applications, including lending platforms, NFT marketplaces and prediction applications, to participate in the burn.  Moreover, protocols gained the ability to allocate any desired amount–not just 60%–to the auction, with the option to dedicate even up to 100% of their collected fees to the auction basket.  This allowed greater flexibility for developers, enabling those experiencing higher growth volumes within their protocols to not only celebrate their success individually, but also highlight it for the entire ecosystem. This exemplifies Injective’s mission in fostering a truly decentralized ecosystem.  The Next Stage of INJ Burn Auctions Today’s update marks the next stage of the INJ Burn, allowing any community member to contribute any asset of their choice into the auction basket. The All New INJ Burn Standard Launch

Today, Injective unveils another enhancement to its groundbreaking burn auction.

The Evolution of the Injective Weekly Burn Auctions

Injective's Weekly Burn Auction made its debut in December 2021 as a novel addition to the ecosystem. Initially, all exchange dApps on Injective contributed 60% of their transaction fees to a weekly auction, where participants could bid for the entire week's collected fees. The winning bid in INJ for the auction basket was then subsequently burned.

This mechanism effectively captured the total value of activity on DEXs deployed on Injective while benefiting all stakeholders involved.

INJ 2.0

However, as Injective evolved into a blockchain built for finance, it became imperative to adapt this mechanism to accommodate the growing diversity of dApps. In August 2023, the Burn Auction underwent its first upgrade, allowing any dApp, regardless of nature, to contribute. This expansion welcomed a multitude of applications, including lending platforms, NFT marketplaces and prediction applications, to participate in the burn.

This allowed greater flexibility for developers, enabling those experiencing higher growth volumes within their protocols to not only celebrate their success individually, but also highlight it for the entire ecosystem. This exemplifies Injective’s mission in fostering a truly decentralized ecosystem.

The Next Stage of INJ Burn Auctions

Today’s update marks the next stage of the INJ Burn, allowing any community member to contribute any asset of their choice into the auction basket. This iteration transcends barriers, inviting contributions from every corner of the community and enriching the ecosystem’s diversity.

"The essence of decentralization lies in empowering every individual to play an active role in shaping the ecosystem," said Eric Chen, co-founder and CEO of Injective Labs. "By democratizing access to the burn auction, Injective is not only amplifying community participation but also reinforcing the collective commitment towards decentralization."

This deflationary mechanism not only reduces the token supply but also instills a sustainable model for value creation within the ecosystem.

The continuous growth and iteration of the burn auction underscore Injective's commitment to inclusivity and value creation for its community. By expanding participation rights and fostering a culture of collaboration, Injective paves the way for a more vigorous and resilient decentralized ecosystem.

XION Integrates Injective As the First Blockchain for Its Chain Abstraction LayerToday, XION announces its integration with Injective, marking a major milestone in bringing chain abstraction into the Injective ecosystem. As a blockchain purpose-built for mainstream adoption, XION’s Chain Abstraction enhances blockchain usability by seamlessly connecting users, apps, and liquidity across ecosystems, allowing XION to serve as an extension to all major blockchain networks. This integration sets the stage for new users to onboard onto Injective and utilize the strength of the Injective network, without any friction points of entry, helping to push Injective further towards mass adoption.  What is XION?   XION is the first layer one blockchain purpose-built for consumer adoption through crypto abstraction. Utilizing protocol-level implementations related to abstracted accounts, signatures, fees, interoperability, and more, XION enables secure, intuitive, and seamless user experiences.  XION aims to make Web3 easier to navigate for all users by abstracting away its inherent complexities. Through familiar Web2 methods like email, users can onboard onto XION, creating an account that seamlessly interacts with any application across any device, including desktop and mobile. Users can also enjoy a frictionless experience without the concerns associated with blockchain technology, such as gas fees, providing an accessible interface reminiscent of traditional Web2 platforms. Mass Adoption for the Injective Ecosystem The integration will enable the seamless flow of users and assets throughout both ecosystems, enhancing liquidity and in turn creating a variety of novel cross-ecosystem use-cases. The first dApp to be available on XION through this integration is Talis, the premier NFT marketplace built on Injective. Any user (within Cosmos, Ethereum, Solana or beyond), will be able to create an account on XION and begin using Talis instantly, without needing to grapple with complexities such as cross-chain bridging, browser plugins, seed phrases, gas fees, and transaction signing.   “Just like the internet, users shouldn’t need to know which infrastructure applications they are using are built on. All that matters is that it works,” said Burnt Banksy, a core contributor to XION. He added, “We’re proud to launch Chain Abstraction as it vastly accelerates XION’s impact in making Web3 accessible to all users.” A New Future of Chain Abstraction As XION's expansion unfolds, an increasing array of Injective ecosystem dApps will become accessible to users through XION’s Chain Abstraction. This breakthrough enables non-crypto-native users to seamlessly onboard powerful on-chain applications and leverage trailblazing technology, without grappling with the complexities inherent in Web3 finance. XION Integrates Injective As the First Blockchain for Its Chain Abstraction Layer

Today, XION announces its integration with Injective, marking a major milestone in bringing chain abstraction into the Injective ecosystem.

Mass Adoption for the Injective Ecosystem

The integration will enable the seamless flow of users and assets throughout both ecosystems, enhancing liquidity and in turn creating a variety of novel cross-ecosystem use-cases.

He added, “We’re proud to launch Chain Abstraction as it vastly accelerates XION’s impact in making Web3 accessible to all users.”

A New Future of Chain Abstraction

As XION's expansion unfolds, an increasing array of Injective ecosystem dApps will become accessible to users through XION’s Chain Abstraction. This breakthrough enables non-crypto-native users to seamlessly onboard powerful on-chain applications and leverage trailblazing technology, without grappling with the complexities inherent in Web3 finance.

This integration not only propels Injective closer to mass adoption but also streamlines onboarding for non-crypto natives, advancing the mission to democratize finance through decentralization.

INJ 3.0 ReleaseToday, Injective unveiled the largest tokenomics upgrade to date with the launch of INJ 3.0 With this update, INJ 3.0 dramatically reduces the supply for Injective’s native token, ultimately enabling INJ to become one of the most deflationary assets within the blockchain industry, injecting long-term value to grow the ecosystem.  Background INJ, the native asset of Injective, serves as the cornerstone of the ecosystem, boasting a myriad of utilities that span governance, protocol fees, security mechanisms, and beyond. Its versatility and indispensability within the Injective network make it a vital asset in driving the network's growth and functionality.  However, the utility of INJ has always been highly unique, with features that cannot be found in any other asset. In turn, the burn auction experienced a surge in activity, witnessing a substantial increase in the amount of INJ burned weekly.  As Injective continues to onboard new users and dApps at a rapid pace, the need for further enhancements becomes evident in order to accommodate the growing ecosystem. To guarantee the ecosystem serves long-term as a peer to institutional players, INJ must function as ultrasound money—rewarding early adopters and attracting new participants,” said Jenna Peterson, CEO of the Injective Foundation. “With these vital updates approved through governance by the broader Injective community, INJ 3.0 aims for INJ to surpass even the sound monetary properties of Bitcoin.” Injective has increased the rate of deflation by a factor of 400%. The specific token supply rate change parameter ensures that Injective remains adaptive and resilient. Injective will adjust its monetary policy in real-time, reacting swiftly to fluctuations in staking activity. As a result, as more INJ is staked, the deflationary properties will increase faster. This level of flexibility maintains equilibrium and security within the ecosystem.  INJ Deflationary Rate The supply decrease schedule of INJ 3.0 will follow an accelerated, yet tightly controlled reduction rate timeline to protect INJ against inflation. The bounds and timeline for the token supply rate change is as follows:  Lower Bound: Currently set at 5%, but will decrease 25% over a period of two years on a uniform quarterly basis. Upper Bound: Currently set at 10%, but will decrease 30% over the same two-year period. INJ 3.0 Release

Today, Injective unveiled the largest tokenomics upgrade to date with the launch of INJ 3.0

With this update, INJ 3.0 dramatically reduces the supply for Injective’s native token, ultimately enabling INJ to become one of the most deflationary assets within the blockchain industry, injecting long-term value to grow the ecosystem.

Background

INJ, the native asset of Injective, serves as the cornerstone of the ecosystem, boasting a myriad of utilities that span governance, protocol fees, security mechanisms, and beyond. Its versatility and indispensability within the Injective network make it a vital asset in driving the network's growth and functionality.

However, the utility of INJ has always been highly unique, with features that cannot be found in any other asset. For example, Injective’s Burn Auction has been widely lauded as a distinctive characteristic of INJ’s tokenomics, as it collects, auctions and burns accumulated network fees on a weekly basis.

In the most recent update to INJ (INJ 2.0), this mechanism expanded to include all dApp network fees, capturing the protocol value that came from the growth of the ecosystem. In turn, the burn auction experienced a surge in activity, witnessing a substantial increase in the amount of INJ burned weekly.

As Injective continues to onboard new users and dApps at a rapid pace, the need for further enhancements becomes evident in order to accommodate the growing ecosystem. It is the only way to encompass and embrace the latest developments along its growth journey.

The INJ 3.0 Update

Enter INJ 3.0, the next evolutionary step in the journey of Injective, poised to address the evolving needs of its expanding user base and ecosystem.

The Injective community voted overwhelmingly in favor of IIP-392 to launch INJ 3.0 moving forward. Timed with the Bitcoin halving, the INJ 3.0 governance proposal aimed to decrease the supply of INJ over the next two years, with accelerated rates of deflation based on the ratio of staked INJ on-chain.

“This is the next stage in Injective’s evolution; we’ve seen billions of dollars flow in since inception. To guarantee the ecosystem serves long-term as a peer to institutional players, INJ must function as ultrasound money—rewarding early adopters and attracting new participants,” said Jenna Peterson, CEO of the Injective Foundation. “With these vital updates approved through governance by the broader Injective community, INJ 3.0 aims for INJ to surpass even the sound monetary properties of Bitcoin.”

Injective has increased the rate of deflation by a factor of 400%.

INJ Deflationary Rate

The supply decrease schedule of INJ 3.0 will follow an accelerated, yet tightly controlled reduction rate timeline to protect INJ against inflation. The bounds and timeline for the token supply rate change is as follows:

Lower Bound: Currently set at 5%, but will decrease 25% over a period of two years on a uniform quarterly basis.

Upper Bound: Currently set at 10%, but will decrease 30% over the same two-year period.

Schedule by quarter end, 2024-2026+:

With INJ 3.0, Injective aims to continue its trajectory of growth and innovation, ensuring that its native asset remains at the forefront of Web3 finance.

The Next Generation Injective Bridge: Ionic UpgradeInjective today is releasing the ionic upgrade to the Injective Bridge, unveiling the most advanced interoperability solution in crypto alongside a superior user experience with near zero fees. The all new Injective Bridge will unify one click bridging across major chains including Ethereum, Solana and Cosmos. In addition, it brings a revamped UX with easy deposit functions, comprehensive transaction histories and state of the art transfer tracking mechanisms. Background Injective today is one of the most interoperable L1 blockchains in existence. This was achieved via strategically integrating some of the most widely utilized networks across the expansive crypto industry. The vision for Injective's interoperability lies in its roots of creating one core hub for all of finance to thrive. To do so, it was essential to ensure that any asset stemming from distinct chains can find a home and easily onboard onto Injective. Injective developers began by creating the Peggy bridge which tied together Ethereum with Injective itself. This would enable any ERC20 asset to be bridged onto Injective. The synergy with Ethereum itself was further heightened with the creation of an advanced signature scheme that would allow Ethereum users to sign any transaction on Injective with any EVM compatible wallet such as MetaMask. As the ecosystem continued to grow, so did Injective's efforts towards creating routes to new chains. Injective was one of the first chains to natively adopt IBC compatibility, effectively allowing developers to seamlessly transfer data and assets. This allows any asset to seamlessly flow into Injective from any other IBC-enabled blockchain. Last year, Injective began to make even larger strides towards interoperability when it integrated Wormhole, making it one of the first chains to do so. This also allowed Injective to interact directly with prominent blockchains such as Solana. The Injective Bridge: Ionic Upgrade The Ionic upgrade brings Injective to an entirely new level. Now for the first time, users and developers alike will be able to leverage one click bridging from any major chain onto Injective. With the Ionic Upgrade, Injective users will be able to bridge any asset from the larger IBC ecosystem, bridge the latest assets via Wormhole 2.0 (without ever leaving Injective), and also continuously bridge any ERC20 token via Injective’s native Ethereum bridge (Peggy bridge). Under the hood, this is an extensive lift by developers in the Injective ecosystem who worked to tightly integrate all of the distinct interoperability frameworks into one standalone product. As a result, the complexities around bridging across individual chains are all abstracted away into one unified product built on Injective. One Click Bridging One Click Deposits on the Injective Bridge The Ionic upgrade provides everyone with an intuitive user experience that makes onboarding onto Injective easier than ever before! With only a click, you can deposit from major networks such as Ethereum, Polygon and more. Major assets such as USDT, wETH and more can also be bridged onto Injective where the user can also designate the recipient address. This provides far more flexibility than before, where anyone can choose to bridge assets onto a different wallet or network. Seamless Chain Access The Injective Bridge Portal Now developers and users alike can transfer from a host of chains including EVM chains such as Ethereum, non-EVM chains such as Solana and IBC-enabled chains such as Celestia. The same deposit framework outlined above is retained, meaning that regardless of which chain or asset is selected, the entire process can be completed with just a click. Furthermore, the balances for any asset across any chain can be viewed on the same page, allowing users to have a complete view of their holdings. Expanded Transaction Monitoring The Bridge Process on Injective Every single step of the bridging process can be monitored by users at all times. The flow begins of course with the user initiating the bridge process with one click at the start. From there, the entire bridging experience is abstracted away. If users choose to do so, they can view the transaction on the explorer for the initial chain such as Etherscan for Ethereum. In addition, once the asset appears on Injective, the Injective Explorer can be used to view the asset as well. Users do not need to be on the bridge page after they make the initial deposit, so even if the site is closed, the bridging process will occur just the same. The new monitoring system provides everyone with further peace of mind as now assets can always be tracked through a simple UI and more detailed explorers as well. Comprehensive Bridging History Injective Bridge History The Ionic upgrade for the Injective Bridge also provides for the first time a detailed history of any transfer made. The initial overview provides the exact timestamps as well so a user can always view the page at a later date. Expanding the "Completed" dropdown will also highlight the exact bridge amount, the transaction hash with an explorer link and the wallets involved in the bridging process. Enhanced Ethereum Compatibility Injective's compatibility with Ethereum is further highlighted by lightning fast transfer times for both deposits and withdrawals. Unlike other blockchains today where withdrawals can take up to a week, withdrawals on Injective take only minutes! As a result, Injective today becomes the fastest chain for interacting with Ethereum and EVM native assets. Near Zero Fees Injective release of Gas Compression is also now integrated into the new bridging process, meaning that transactions incur the lowest fees in all of crypto! In the end, this means users are able to retain more of their funds on Injective compared to any other L1 network today. Wormhole Gateway Integration The Wormhole experience is also now directly embedded into the Injective Bridge for the first time. As a result, users no longer need to navigate multiple bridge providers or Portal Bridge to make their Wormhole native transfers to Injective. Assets from chains such as Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum and more can now rapidly be deposited onto Injective. Wallets such as Phantom, Keplr and MetaMask can be utilized for the bridging experience, meaning that users can continue to use familiar wallets to onboard onto Injective. Wormhole Migration With the introduction of Wormhole Gateway, a paradigm shift occurred. Tokens bridged in through this upgraded mechanism are automatically designated as bank tokens, the canonical version of the asset on Injective. Previously, tokens bridged into Injective via Wormhole were designated as CW20 tokens. While these tokens served their purpose, they lacked the seamless interoperability required for optimal performance within the Injective environment. CW20 tokens, although functional, needed to undergo a conversion process into Bank denom tokens to unlock their full potential within the ecosystem. This conversion facilitated compatibility with essential components like the on-chain Injective orderbook module and dApps across the ecosystem. With the Ionic upgrade directly integrating Wormhole Gateway, users no longer need to manually convert bridged assets into Bank assets. This process now occurs automatically with the new upgrade, significantly enhancing the seamlessness and efficiency of bridging for end-users. As a result, when users bridge a new asset or wish to quickly create markets for tokens, they can do so without any hassle or in-depth technical knowledge about distinct token denominations. Wormhole Legacy Assets Starting now, Injective users are encouraged to transition their existing "legacy" tokens to the new Wormhole Gateway standard through the revamped Injective Bridge. For users with tokens previously bridged into Injective via Wormhole, a "LEGACY" suffix will be assigned. Migrating legacy tokens to the one unified token standard can also be achieved in one click using the Injective Bridge! The Injective bridge provides a user-friendly interface for this migration process, ensuring a smooth transition without compromising on security or efficiency.  Migrating to one standard will ensure far more composability for assets and new use cases as a whole as dApps across the Injective ecosystem begin to follow one standard. A New Era of Interoperability The introduction of the Ionic upgrade to the Injective Bridge represents a major milestone in the evolution of Web3 infrastructure as a whole. For the first time, anyone can effortlessly deposit assets onto Injective from a host of different networks in one unified product, opening up a world of possibilities for Web3 finance enthusiasts and developers alike. One click deposits, enhanced transaction monitoring, and major optimizations across the infrastructure stack alongside the lowest fees in all of crypto, enable Injective to truly provide the best bridging experience to date. In turn, this allows for far higher levels of composability than what was previously thought to be possible. By embracing enhanced token standards and prioritizing interoperability, Injective continues to empower users with unparalleled flexibility and efficiency in their digital asset transactions. The Next Generation Injective Bridge: Ionic Upgrade

Injective today is releasing the ionic upgrade to the Injective Bridge, unveiling the most advanced interoperability solution in crypto alongside a superior user experience with near zero fees.

The all new Injective Bridge will unify one click bridging across major chains including Ethereum, Solana and Cosmos. In addition, it brings a revamped UX with easy deposit functions, comprehensive transaction histories and state of the art transfer tracking mechanisms.

Background

Injective today is one of the most interoperable L1 blockchains in existence.

The Injective Bridge: Ionic Upgrade

The Ionic upgrade brings Injective to an entirely new level.

One Click Bridging

One Click Deposits on the Injective Bridge

The Ionic upgrade provides everyone with an intuitive user experience that makes onboarding onto Injective easier than ever before!

Seamless Chain Access

The Injective Bridge Portal

Now developers and users alike can transfer from a host of chains including EVM chains such as Ethereum, non-EVM chains such as Solana and IBC-enabled chains such as Celestia. The same deposit framework outlined above is retained, meaning that regardless of which chain or asset is selected, the entire process can be completed with just a click.

Furthermore, the balances for any asset across any chain can be viewed on the same page, allowing users to have a complete view of their holdings.

Expanded Transaction Monitoring

The Bridge Process on Injective

Every single step of the bridging process can be monitored by users at all times.

Comprehensive Bridging History

Injective Bridge History

The Ionic upgrade for the Injective Bridge also provides for the first time a detailed history of any transfer made.

The initial overview provides the exact timestamps as well so a user can always view the page at a later date. Expanding the "Completed" dropdown will also highlight the exact bridge amount, the transaction hash with an explorer link and the wallets involved in the bridging process.

Enhanced Ethereum Compatibility

Injective's compatibility with Ethereum is further highlighted by lightning fast transfer times for both deposits and withdrawals. Unlike other blockchains today where withdrawals can take up to a week, withdrawals on Injective take only minutes!

As a result, Injective today becomes the fastest chain for interacting with Ethereum and EVM native assets.

Near Zero Fees

Injective release of Gas Compression is also now integrated into the new bridging process, meaning that transactions incur the lowest fees in all of crypto! In the end, this means users are able to retain more of their funds on Injective compared to any other L1 network today.

Wormhole Gateway Integration

The Wormhole experience is also now directly embedded into the Injective Bridge for the first time.

Wormhole Migration

With the introduction of Wormhole Gateway, a paradigm shift occurred.

Injective and AltLayer Bring Restaking Security to EVM ApplicationsInjective is officially collaborating with AltLayer to create the first ever restaking security framework for on-chain inEVM applications. Starting now, inEVM can leverage the security of not only Injective but also Ethereum as a whole, bringing the security of over $400 Billion in assets to the world of inEVM.With this integration, inEVM is able to be more simultaneously Ethereum and Injective aligned than ever before, further merging two of the most vibrant L1 ecosystems to date. Injective’s inEVM enables Ethereum developers to build applications that can uniquely leverage Injective’s blazing fast speeds and near zero fees while simultaneously achieving composability across the WASM and EVM world. In turn, this allows Injective to be the only L1 blockchain capable of unifying the interoperability of Cosmos with the speed of Solana and the developer access of Ethereum. Together with AltLayer, Injective inEVM is introducing an entirely new design framework to bring to EVM transactions whereby on-chain state validation is carried out with a network of nodes with economic backing, which in turn ensures optimal security and reliability across the entire rollup stack. What is AltLayer? AltLayer stands at the forefront of rollup technology, offering a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to address the scalability challenges facing Web3 applications. Central to AltLayer's offerings is its novel product, 'restaked rollups', which supplement existing rollups with enhanced security, decentralization, and interoperability by leveraging the restaking mechanism. Optimistic Mode Optimistic Mode. Image provided by AltLayer. In this mode, the rollup operator asserts a state claim on the MACH protocol, stating that the execution of a specific block of transactions leads to a particular state commitment.  Within this framework, any node in the MACH network can then challenge the claim and prove that the new state is not valid by engaging with the inEVM operator in a bisection protocol. Optimistic Mode with ZK Proofs Optimistic Mode with ZK Proofs. Image provided by AltLayer. A variation on the model above relies on the implementation of ZK Fault Proofs. This setup assumes the existence of at least one honest node in the MACH network and network nodes are mostly in observation mode. In theory, this model would replace the prior bisection protocol with on-demand ZK Proofs in which such proofs are generated in case of a challenge. Validity Proof Mode Validity Proof Mode. Image provided by AltLayer. In the final mode of the MACH network acts as a decentralized verifier network for validity proofs. The rollup operator such as a sequencer will commit to a newly set of transactions, the resulting state, together with the validity proof on MACH. Developers can leverage LayerZero to create omnichain apps, or OApps, which interact not only within the Injective ecosystem, but also across all interconnected networks supported by Layer Zero.

The LayerZero Architecture for inEVM

Additionally, developers will be able to utilize LayerZero Endpoints, which are crucial components that facilitate this communication between different blockchains.

OApps uniquely have horizontal composability, allowing for external cross chain calls to and from inEVM to be containerized as new message packets. This ensures the separation of the receipt logic from the external call itself.

By utilizing LayerZero dApps launched on inEVM can access assets from a host of other networks as well as unique assets typically not available before on Injective such as liquid staked assets. In addition, due to Injective’s integration with IBC, inEVM can enjoy access to both Etheruem native assets along with assets across the Cosmos universe.

The Future of inEVM

inEVM brings a groundbreaking infrastructure stack designed to hyperscale multi VM development. With inEVM, builders can create a legion of new applications that not only retain the highest performance standards but also directly composes across the IBC and Solana ecosystems over time.

Every single facet of inEVM has been custom built to meet the needs of sophisticated applications, including a hyper scalable execution layer as well as a modular DA layer. This combined with the near zero fees offered by Injective, makes inEVM the foremost solution for Ethereum native builders everywhere.

Injective Launches InEVM on Mainnet: the First Rollup to Hyperscale Concurrent VM DevelopmentInjective today is introducing Injective EVM (inEVM) on mainnet, the first ever Ethereum aligned rollup designed to supercharge concurrent VM development. Injective’s inEVM enables Ethereum developers to build applications that can uniquely leverage Injective’s blazing fast speeds and near zero fees while simultaneously achieving composability across the WASM and EVM world. In turn, this allows Injective to be the only L1 blockchain capable of unifying the interoperability of Cosmos with the speed of Solana and the developer access of Ethereum. inEVM was built in collaboration with some of the foremost infrastructure projects in Web3 today, including rollup provider Caldera. In addition, prominent messaging layers such as Hyperlane and LayerZero have integrated with inEVM, allowing for the seamless transfer of data and assets. Celestia is set to serve as the Data Availability (DA) layer for the rollup; and Pyth as the oracle provider. Projects deploying on inEVM today include TimeSwap (a major lending protocol) and Thetanauts (an advanced on-chain options protocol). These protocols together have raised over $200 Million to date from investors such as Polychain Capital, Delphi Digital, Bain Capital Crypto and many more. Get Started with inEVM: https://inevm.com/ inEVM Docs here A Background on inEVM Injective today is one of the fastest layer one blockchains with the lowest fees. The network has processed over 450 million transactions with subsecond block times. These performance enhancements combined with Injective's native plug-and-play modules such as the world's first fully on-chain orderbook, enable Injective to offer developers an unparalleled experience when building Web3 applications. Injective developed compatibility across the Ethereum ecosystem over the years. This includes a unique signing mechanism whereby Ethereum wallets such as MetaMask can be utilized throughout dApps built on Injective. As the Injective ecosystem continued to onboard more developers, a common request was the addition of an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) environment. Not only would this expand the development possibilities on Injective but it would also empower a new set of Ethereum native builders to onboard onto Injective with familiar languages and tooling. Furthermore, an EVM layer on Injective also has the potential to serve as a sandbox for builders to familiarize themselves with the broader Injective ecosystem while retaining composability with Injective's WebAssembly (WASM) backbone. inEVM: Building for a Multi VM World inEVM is set to reshape how Ethereum developers interact with the broader blockchain universe. Using the same Solidity language as that on Ethereum, developers in a sandbox setting can harness Injective’s advantages — e.g., unparalleled transaction times, lower costs, connection to the IBC network — while opening their dApps simultaneously across layers and protocols, including Ethereum and Solana. Developed in collaboration with Caldera, inEVM is the first-ever EVM capable of achieving true composability across Cosmos and Solana. This is achieved via Injective's ability to sustain multiple virtual machine environments under one integrated network. For the first time in history, builders are no longer siloed to just one VM but rather can develop alongside and create new synergies across a myriad of VM layers on Injective. The inEVM Architecture Injective worked to pioneer a concurrent VM ecosystem with WASM, inEVM and inSVM all secured by Injective. These VM environments accommodate different virtual machines, each tailored to execute smart contracts written in different programming languages or adhering to distinct execution models. This setup facilitates interoperability by allowing developers to leverage the strengths of different VMs while ensuring compatibility with existing smart contract standards and infrastructure.  Native Interoperability At the heart of inEVM is the native interoperability across the WASM and EVM environments. Injective leverages Hyperlane in order to interact with WASM-based Injective dApps and assets. Hyperlane is not just a bridge, but also a universal and permissionless interoperability layer built for the modular blockchain stack, perfect for rollups such as inEVM and inSVM.  With Hyperlane on Injective’s inEVM, you can build interchain applications that abstracts the complexities of the multichain world away from users. If a user wishes to build a solidity dApp that allows users to create transactions directly on Injective’s WASM apps, Hyperlane can make this happen seamlessly. The core properties of the messaging layer between Injective and inEVM Here are a few core features of Hyperlane: Contracts: Hyperlane exposes on-chain contracts that allow applications to send and receive messages. Agents: Agents in the network operate the protocol by adding security and relaying messages across chains Applications: And that’s you guys! You can use the protocol to send and receive messages between different chains secured by Hyperlane Horizontal Composability Injective’s inEVM environment is also inherently different from other EVM chains because it integrates Ethereum into the IBC ecosystem, representing a significant advancement in holistic composability. With the help of this innovation, a two-way messaging layer is present at all times between Injective's WASM smart contracting layer and inEVM. This in turn can lead to novel development capabilities that are simply not possible elsewhere. For instance, a builder can directly interact with Injective's core modules such as its on-chain orderbook while never leaving the inEVM layer, allowing for unique liquidity profiles for new applications. The interoperability showcased between inEVM and Injective's WASM layer Due to Injective’s integrations with various prominent blockchains and the liquidity the ecosystem gathered over time, a builder can also deploy a dApp on inEVM that accesses liquidity and users from sovereign networks, by just connecting to Injective. Injective's novel integration with LayeZero also aids in the creation of omnichain apps or OApps. In the context of inEVM, OApps can interact not just within the Injective’s ecosystem but across all connected networks, leveraging LayerZero’s infrastructure. OApps uniquely offer horizontal composability. OApps enable this by allowing for external cross chain calls to and from inEVM to be containerized as a new message packet, ensuring that receipt logic is separated from the external call itself. There are also further extensions purpose built for NFT ecosystems called the OFT OApp extension, which facilitates cross-chain NFT for those interested in building an omnichain NFT project Scaling inEVM with Celestia DA Celestia is poised to serve as the data availability (DA) layer for inEVM. Celestia is a modular DA network. Celestia DA will provide a mechanism for the inEVM execution and settlement layers to monitor in a trust-minimized manner whether transaction data is indeed available. inEVM can also tap into the abundant throughput enabled by Celestia's data availability sampling (DAS), an architecture that scales while maintaining verifiability for any user. Pyth: Institutional Grade Data Pyth is also live on inEVM from day one. This means that new applications such as perpetual DEXs or general applications requiring sophisticated oracle access can do so with ease. Pyth provides low latency data to inEVM, enabling builders to build apps with high-fidelity oracle feeds designed for mission-critical systems. 95+ major market participants — including Jane Street, CBOE, Binance, OKX, and Bybit — contribute data to the network. Getting Started with inEVM Getting started with inEVM is extraordinarily simple and deploying on inEVM is the same as any other EVM-compatible chain, making the entire build process quite intuitive. In addition to this, there is a diverse array of unique Ethereum native tooling and integrations exclusively on inEVM that you as a developer can leverage to interoperate seamlessly with Injective as well as other chains such as Ethereum and Solana. A robust set of tools on inEVM You can begin your builder journey on inEVM by navigating to the docs here. Users can also begin to interact with applications built on inEVM. These applications include but are not limited to the following: TimeSwap: Timeswap AMM enables the creation of fixed maturity lending & borrowing markets for any fungible token without dependency on external price feeds. Injective Launches InEVM on Mainnet: the First Rollup to Hyperscale Concurrent VM Development

Injective today is introducing Injective EVM (inEVM) on mainnet, the first ever Ethereum aligned rollup designed to supercharge concurrent VM development.

A Background on inEVM

Injective today is one of the fastest layer one blockchains with the lowest fees.

Furthermore, an EVM layer on Injective also has the potential to serve as a sandbox for builders to familiarize themselves with the broader Injective ecosystem while retaining composability with Injective's WebAssembly (WASM) backbone.

inEVM: Building for a Multi VM World

inEVM is set to reshape how Ethereum developers interact with the broader blockchain universe.

The inEVM Architecture

Injective worked to pioneer a concurrent VM ecosystem with WASM, inEVM and inSVM all secured by Injective.

Native Interoperability

At the heart of inEVM is the native interoperability across the WASM and EVM environments.

The core properties of the messaging layer between Injective and inEVM

Here are a few core features of Hyperlane:

Contracts: Hyperlane exposes on-chain contracts that allow applications to send and receive messages.

Agents: Agents in the network operate the protocol by adding security and relaying messages across chains

Applications: And that’s you guys! You can use the protocol to send and receive messages between different chains secured by Hyperlane

Horizontal Composability

Injective’s inEVM environment is also inherently different from other EVM chains because it integrates Ethereum into the IBC ecosystem, representing a significant advancement in holistic composability.

The interoperability showcased between inEVM and Injective's WASM layer

Due to Injective’s integrations with various prominent blockchains and the liquidity the ecosystem gathered over time, a builder can also deploy a dApp on inEVM that accesses liquidity and users from sovereign networks, by just connecting to Injective.

There are also further extensions purpose built for NFT ecosystems called the OFT OApp extension, which facilitates cross-chain NFT for those interested in building an omnichain NFT project

Scaling inEVM with Celestia DA

Celestia is poised to serve as the data availability (DA) layer for inEVM.

Pyth: Institutional Grade Data

Pyth is also live on inEVM from day one.

Getting Started with inEVM

Getting started with inEVM is extraordinarily simple and deploying on inEVM is the same as any other EVM-compatible chain, making the entire build process quite intuitive. In addition to this, there is a diverse array of unique Ethereum native tooling and integrations exclusively on inEVM that you as a developer can leverage to interoperate seamlessly with Injective as well as other chains such as Ethereum and Solana.
